Hate Story: Paoli Dam says nudity is part of my job

Mumbai, March 28 (): Bengali actress, Paoli Dam is now all set for her first ‘Bollywood ride’ with Vikram Bhatt’s forthcoming film ‘Hate Story’. Paoli Dam is creating a stir in Bollywood, after the release of the bold poster and uncensored trailer of Vikram Bhatt’s Hate Story.

The 31-year-old actress, Paoli Dam, created a storm last year when her Bengali film ‘Chatrak’, as she showed the audiences how good she can be at her erotic best and the actor thinks her baring act in ‘Chatrak’ has worked to her advantage. Paoli told the media that Bhatt called him after seeing her performance in ‘Chatrak’.

In Hate Story, Paoli plays a small-town girl in the film, who is forced to become a high-society call girl owing to her circumstances. And later, how she takes revenge from all the men who wronged her.

Director Vivek Agnihotri says Hate Story is an erotic thriller and is meant only for adults. He’s adamant on not deleting any scenes from the film’s final print.

So, is there a lot of nudity in the film? “I am a performer and when I bare all, it is only for my job. As an actor, I have no inhibitions; I just play a character. But yes, if I am not comfortable with something, I will not do it,” Paoli Dam maintains.

“Vikram told me that he wanted to do one more film with me,” says Paoli.

The buzz is that Paoli Dam is also doing an international film called ” Choli Ke Peeche”, in which she has a lot of nude scenes. This film was apparently offered to Shahana Goswami and then Nandana Sen. Both actors refused it because of the nudity involved.

In ‘Chatrak’, which was directed by Vimukthi Jayasundara, Paoli Dam did many bold scenes which left the nation flabbergasted and she sees nothing wrong in doing such scenes because she believes getting under the skin.
