London, Jan 3 (ANI): A new range of paper face masks, priced at 8 dollars each, shows promise to deliver the same result a person would get from an expensive facial.
The new Masqueology product is already a huge hit in Korea, and is now set to hit US stores.
Miles Lichterman, chief operating officer of Beauty Architects, the company bringing the product to the U.S. explained that the idea is aimed at time-poor consumers, who do not have the time to set aside an hour for a fortnightly at-home beauty ritual, the Daily Mail reported.
“In Asia, facial masks are a dime store product. In our market, they exist, but they have been hidden,” he told WWD.
“If you look at trends in Asia, everybody is so busy, and it is all about being quick,” Beauty Architects chief financial officer Phillip Ha, added.
The makers of the product said that another advantage of the product is that, being made from paper, it is less messy than traditional masks.
“Masqueology [is] bringing technology and ingredients from Korea in a line solely dedicated to paper masks,” Carolyn Bojanowski, director of skin care, told the trade title. (ANI)
