Seeman address Tamil Americans via Video Conference

Fremont, Nov 8 (): Director and Naam Tamilar Leader – Seeman is scheduled to address a meeting via video conference facility on November 12th, 2011. Though Seeman was having ten years multiple entry visas to visit US, he has been denied last week at the port of entry in USA. To circumvent an unwarranted decision taken by the US immigration officials Seeman decided to go-ahead with the meeting as proposed and give key note address using latest technology and tools.  It is widely expected that many number of Tamil Americans will attend Seeman’s Meeting.

Decision of denying entry to Seeman has raised eye brow to many diplomats and human rights activists since accused architect of Sri Lankan War Crimes – President Mahinda Rajapaksa and Defense Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has been granted entry into USA recently. Many political analysts consider this as a  biased decision taken by the US authorities which may hurt the US commitment towards bringing justice to the culprits of Sri Lankan War Crimes.

Seeman is a growing politician in Tamil Nadu who has numerous followers and supporters. He is a close ally of ruling ADMK leader – Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha and main instrumental in toppling the unpopular previous Karunanithi government in Tamil Nadu, India.

Apart from losing political and diplomatic leverages, US may lose confidence among business circles in Tamil Nadu, India. Chennai has been growing rapidly and dream destination for the automobile sector in particular. Many American companies have offshore manufacturing units in Chennai.  Tamils have been recognized widely “Well Educated and Hard Working Professional” who have been contributing tirelessly in many American companies in Software and other sectors. Many business leaders fear that hurting sentiments of 70 million+ Tamil speaking people will not fetch any tangible benefits to USA in a long run.

Seeman Video Conference meeting will be a feast to the Bay area Tamil Community.

Venue and Timing of the event as follows,

Location: Centerville Junior High, 37720, Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA
