BJP & RSS foresee India - China war II
BJP propelled by RSS has initiated a war hype propaganda and disapproves appointment of Shiv Shankar Menon as NSA to Prime Minister
BJP in its press note released on the Friday has slammed the Congress led Indian Government for appointing Mr. Shiv Shankar Menon as National Security adviser who is widely perceived to follow a very soft line on China and accused that there is a “deliberate attempt” to downplay the increasing belligerence of Chinese assertiveness.
Since BJP is the main opposition party with wide ranging network of informers from inside and outside the Government, political analysts are of the view that allegations of BJP should be based on concrete information of such a conspiracy and are searching for the persons behind the “ deliberate attempt”
The BJP have higjhlighted the following development in our neighborhood as evidences for the new found assertiveness of China which cannot be denied by anyone.
1.China is now projecting at ease with its military ambition. There was an attempt even to hack the computer of the PMO and the National Security Advisor as publicly confirmed by former NSA Shri Narayanan himself earlier. If the information in the PMO and the NSA is not safe then what can be more alarming!
2.China is very rapidly expanding its geo-political interest in our immediate neighborhood, be it Central Asia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and even Maldives.
3. The rising Sino-Pakistan nexus is a cause for very serious concern. Today, China contributes towards 70% of Pakistan’s military hardware.
4.There are other strategic projects built-up by China in Pakistan apart from the Karakoram Highway. China also has a very powerful presence in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (POK).
5.The very aggressive posture on Arunachal Pradesh is a part of this design as also the increasing instances of border incursions in and around Ladakh and other border areas.
BJP has alleged that there is a “deliberate attempt” to downplay the increasing belligerence of Chinese assertiveness and has warned that this low profile approach would seriously impinge upon our strategic security. BJP further expressed that there is additional cause for concern because the new National Security Advisor Mr. Menon is widely perceived to follow a very soft line on China and Pakistan.
BJP has pointed out a serious fact of a wide gap between the Government, the strategic community and the military think tank about the concern emanating from China’s aggressiveness
While the recent strategic development around India as mentioned by BJP are real, the purpose of expressing such concerns by BJP may be only to create a war hype to get political gains.
In the recent past RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat was going around propagating the China factor although so far RSS was more interested in propagating grave threat from Muslim Pakistan. He was reported to have made the following statements.
“China says it wants friendship with India, but does not give up its claim to Indian territory. We know what happened in 1962. We should be careful about what China says and what it does,”
“When China wants to wage war with India it will. And when it does not, it talks about friendship with us. We must be alert and prepared because China has not given up its claim on our territory,”
Therefore the outburst of BJP on the ill advised foreign policies follows a decision by RSS for conducting such a propaganda.
Whatever it may be, the RSS and BJP have foreseen a real threat and danger from the dragon. But the ruling Congress party is unlikely to feel it and is busy with its businessmen led by Italian lady. Mr.Manmohan or Chidambaram will not agree with BJP. They will be interested only on DRY economy dealing trade balance with Dollars, Rupees and Yuan leaving the price rise of essential commodities and food as a head ache of the common man. They now depend on the new found body guard USA and are not worried about external security.
BJP having faith in the astrology of names appears to fear about Shiv Shankar Menon , the new NSA alleged to practice soft line with China. Is BJP scared of reminding that Krishana Menon who is on record for misguiding Jawaharlal Nehru and misleading the nation in the 1962 debacle in China war? Does BJP suspect Shiv Shankar Menon just because another one, K P S Menon (Jr), the uncle of Shiv Shankar Menon .was former Indian ambassador to China? Or is it because SS Menon is capable of speaking Chimese? Is it not well and good to speak Mandarin with Chinese people silmilar to speaking Italian with Sonia Gandhi? In what way SS Menon a former diplomat and having a stint in the Department of Atomic Energy is less qualified to Mr. MK Narayanan who was having no experience of handling diplomatic assignment prior to his appointment as NSA?
Then what could be the qualification for a post of National Security Adviser to Prime Minister? This post itself is unnecessary and is an extra fitting . With what purpose was this post created? Is there any post for National Price Rise Adviser or National Anti Corruption Adviser? Should we have NSA when we have many more bureaucrats dealing with Security in the Ministry of External Affairs and Home Ministry? Is it not an affront on our economy to spend crores of rupees for such posts while the Government machinery is handicapped by not filling simple clerical cadre posts? Why are we running rehabilitation cum pleasure camps for retired IAS officers and politicians in NSA and Governor posts? Can BJP raise such questions? If so we are ready to appreciate this political party.
The post of NSA has become a single window for accumulated sensitive information from where any enemy country can hack the computers and take away what they want.
Mr. MK Narayanan in his tenure even argued with Nuclear Scientists on Nuclear Physics in the alleged failure of Pokhran Nuclear test. The whole process of creation of a ring of enmity by China around India was in full swing only in the period of MK Narayanan as NSA. What advice he could have given regarding Mumbai Taj Hotel attack? BJP should explain and should also come up with the details of deliberate soft pedaling on China by MKN before showing displeasure with SS Menon who is just taking up this unnecessary assignment.
BJP should come forward to expose the persons who are involved in the ‘ Deliberate attempt” to downplay the threat. Those persons may be seen anywhere in BJP or Congress or most of them in CPI(M), Bureaucrats, Politicians, Business men, Media men or God men who go after women and money to sell this country.
Why not pick up the musclemen from various Senas in Parivar and send them to identify anti national pro Chinese elements and treat with their methods of punishment sanctioned by Lord Ram? In order to inform the Congress party about China threat, BJP can write all the information about the conspirators of deliberate attempts in Italian language and send it to Mrs. Sonia Gandhi based on the brilliant idea of Mahathma Narendra Modi!
If BJP sincerely exposes such persons, it may loose the support of industrialists and traders who are immensely benefited by trade with China; The News -for - Money Media men shall begin to write against BJP to the extent of defaming BJP; BJP cannot accommodate the political clown with red cap, Mr. Subramanyam Swamy who is trying to join the saffron brigade. Moreover the bureaucratic connection of RSS with IB and RAW shall sour.
Yes, BJP will never expose anyone. Therefore it is confirmed that BJP rakes up China issue only to prepare for a war hype and propaganda to culminate in a pseudo patriotic campaign in the next General Election.
But no one can deny that there is a security nightmare in waiting and there is substance in the allegations of BJP regarding the external affairs. Unfortunaely we have a Government with deaf ears, big mouth and empty head in dealing with foreign affairs.
