Chennai, Sep 18 (): The trailer of upcoming Tamil film of Vikram, ‘I’, has crossed more than two million views in just 24 hours of its release on YouTube.
The official trailer launch of the Vikram-starrer happened on September 15, Monday, in Chennai. It was one of South cinema’s biggest events, which was graced by the presence of Tamil superstar Rajinikanth and Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger. The film’s soundtrack was also unveiled at the grand event.

The launch event of the music and trailer witnessed a big crowd of stars from the film industry. Music maestro A R Rahman’s music mesmerized all 5000 fans presnt at the stadium. Vikram too performed a werewolf act with actress Amy Jackson.
The trailer on the YouTube channel of Sony Music India showed Chiyaan Vikram in multiple characters including a hunchback and a werewolf costume.
Ashok Parwani, Head of South, Sony Music India, said in a statement that they had not seen such an enormous pick-up for any trailer so far in Tamil industry. He added such a response to the trailer clearly shows ‘I’ would set new standards across the film industries and he is also very proud that their company is associated with it.
I, starring Chiyan Vikram, Amy Jackson and Upen Patel in important roles, is directed by Shankar.
Reports say the movie is made on a budget of over Rs 150 crore. Ace music director, double Oscar-award winner AR Rahman has scored music for the film. The big budget film has used a lot of technical aspects to make it a magnum opus. The music director has scored unique music for the film which would be really appreciated by all.
Weta Workshop, the company behind Peter Jackson’s film trilogy The Lord of the Rings, has worked on the background arts and digital make-up of the film.
