Abu Dhabi, May 17 (): Bang Bang director Siddharth Anand is busy shooting for his film in Abu Dhabi and he is making sure the shooting schedule goes on smoothly amidst tight security.
Siddharth Anand has appointed close to thirty security persons on the set; in addition to it, he has also asked all crew members to give away their mobile phones at a counter before entering the shooting spot.
Sources from the film’s unit say to keep the sets under control is usually very hard during outdoor shootings. As Siddharth is making some of the most important scenes currently for his film Bang Bang in Abu Dhabi it is very important to keep the information about the movie under wraps. The scenes made in Adu Dhabi are the thrill part of ‘Bang Bang’ and so, Siddharth has no other choice but to make use of all security measures.
When taking into account the safety measures, the first and the foremost way to implement security is by maintaining “strict watch for people with mobile phones”. The film’s unit has set up a counter where the crew can hand over their phones and take it back once the shooting for the day ends.
Few months back, Happy New Year director Farah Khan banned mobile phones on the sets of her upcoming film. Happy New Year is a big budget movie that stars Shahrukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani, Vivaan Shah and Sonu Sood. Now, filmmaker Siddharth Anand is following the footsteps of Farah Khan.
Meantime, Jimmy Shergill has joined Hrithik and Katrina for a main action sequence. The film’s unit was seen shooting at Hyatt Capital Gate Hotel. Reports say the hotel has been changed into MI6 headquarters. The crew has finished shooting some thrilling car chase sequences on the same streets where Fast And Furious 7 was shot.
In film city, Mumbai, Siddharth Anand has done an important song, in which the sets had been recreated as that of Shimla. Bang Bang, slated for an October 2, 2014 release, features Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif and Jimmy Shergill.
