LFW 2014 grand finale : Kareena, Priyanka set stage on fire

Mumbai, Mar 17 (): In the grand finale of Lakme Fashion Week – LFW of Summer/Resort 2014 stunning Bollywood actresses Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra set the stage on fire with their ravishing looks and catwalks performed wearing exclusive collections.

Kareena and Priyanka made their presence high with their attires designed by popular designer Rajesh Pratap Singh and designer Neeta Lulla.

Kareena made a grand entry into the ramp with fireworks blazing behind her. She wore a long black outfit with works made in silver all over the dress. She looked ravishing with light make-up, tied up hair and metallic eye shadow.

For designer Rajesh Pratap Singh, a distinctive ramp was made in garden lawn that was lined with candles and mirrors. The show began with gorgeous models walking the ramp in white dress. The collections of Rajesh were a mixture of dresses, jackets, skirts and village bundi vest, all designed in a new avatar. His dresses had woven experiments that featured silver, paper aluminium, stainless steel, hand spun hand woven silk, linen and khadi.

For another ace designer Neeta Lulla, Bollywood stunning lady Priyanka Chopra became the show-stopper. The actress was in the ramp to displaye Indo-western collections on the grand finale day of LFW Summer/Resort 2014 on March 16.

Lulla said that Priyanka was wearing a colourful and stylish kaftan. Neeta said it was delightful to have Priyanka Chopra as her model. Her collections had bright monochromatic colours with their hues enthused from rain forest and the actress carried the ramp walk really well, she said.

With full confidence, Priyanka made the ramp walk in a white kaftan. The attire had knee-length long cuts on both the sides.

Priyanka said walking on ramp had always scared her. She continued that she would always get very anxious and would be the happiest when all gets over. For this walk, the outfit was very comfortable for her. Priyanka complimented Neeta saying she was one of the iconic designers and walking the ramp in her outfit was simply wonderful.
