Mar 12 (): Transportation Infrastructure business of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) wins orders worth INR 1035 Crores in India and INR 1550 Crores in Oman.
INR 1035 Crores order includes a major EPC order received from RAIL Vikas Nigam in Odisha for roadbed, bridgework, track-linking, outdoor signalling etc. as a part of doubling of East Coast Railway project, an EPC from the Maharashtra government under NHDP-1V for Rehabilitation and Upgrading of NH-222 from junction with NH-211 to Manwath section, a turnkey order from the Government of Odisha for two laning of Kanakotra to Jharsuguda section at Belpahar in Odisha.
INR 1550 Crores order is a prestigious international order from the Ministry of transport and communications, Sultanate of Oman for a road construction project between Bidbid-Sur Section (Second Phase, First Part). The work involves widening the present two-lane road into a three-lane dual carriage way. This project is up for completion in approximately 38 months.
