Hyderabad, Jan 2 (TruthDive): After several postponements in the release of the movie, Ram Charan Teja’s revenge drama “Yevadu” is finally all set to hit the screens as a Sankranthi release on 12 January.
Initially, the makers have planned to release the movie on July 31, 2013 but it was postponed to avoid a clash with Pawan Kalyan’s Attarintiki Daaredi. Then, Yevadu was delayed as there was political turmoil in Andhra Pradesh.
Later, it was slated to release in December but the distributors wanted the movie to be in Sankranthi season, so that the festival holidays would add to the collections. Finally the movie has cleared all the hurdles and is releasing in January 2014, after 6 months from proposed initial release.
Before its release, the makers of the movie have kick-started the promotional efforts on New Year’s day by releasing a short teaser. On January 1, a 16-second teaser was released. The video shows exceptional dancing skills of Ram Charan.
