New Delhi, Dec 17 (): Xolo has officially announced the launch of its new XOLO Play Tegra Note Tablet on Monday at a press event here. The company claimed that the Xolo Play Tegra Note is ‘world’s fastest tablet’. The Tegra tablet is available from yesterday for a price of Rs. 17,999.
The 7-inch Xolo Tegra Tablet Note runs on an Nvidia Tegra 4 chip (4 x Cortex A15) processor clocked at 1.8GHz. It has a resolution of 800×1280 pixels and pushes 216 pixels per inch pixel density.
It comes packed with 1GB of RAM and offers 16GB of onboard storage and can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS which the company has assured to update to Jelly Bean 4.3 shortly.
The tablet comes with two cameras. The primary camera fitted on the rear side is a 5-megapixel snapper which is capable of shooting high quality images using HDR, Panorama, and other imaging options while the secondary camera is a VGA shooter on the front.
It has connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, WLAN, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 2.0. It has a 15.17Wh / 4100mAh battery that is good enough for 10 hours of HD video playback. The 9.6 mm thick tablet weighs 320 grams.
Other features include Nvidia PureAudio technology, DirectStylus technology for the bundled stylus, SmugMug Camera app and Nvidia TegraZone.
