Jai Ho : Salman Khan to launch trailer in theatre with fans

Mumbai, Dec 3 (TruthDive): Dabangg star Salman Khan is all set to launch the trailer of his much awaited movie Jai Ho soon. Rather than doing the usual method of organising a press meet for the trailer launch, Salman has planned to unveil the trailer of the movie in the presence of his fans at the Chandan single screen theatre on December 5, Thursday, said a statement.

Salman and his director-brother Sohail Khan have come up with this new innovative idea, which is being experimented perhaps for the first time in Bollywood. Usually, trailer launches are media event and are organised in a grand manner, but the popular star wanted the common people to get the first glimpse of his film. On the occasion, the makers have planned for an interaction session, in which Salman would be interacting with his fans and would seek their reaction about the movie`s maiden look.

The actor would get a chance to watch the live reaction of the audience and in the interaction session, he would be interacting not only with the fans present there, but also with the media persons present there.

The Dabangg star’s last release was in November 2012 and his fans have been waiting for a long time to see him back on the big screen. So, the makers feel this new idea of launching the trailer would be appreciated by the masses.

Directed by Sohail Khan, “Jai Ho” also features Tabu, Daisy Shah, Om Puri, Danny Denzongpa, Genelia D’Souza, Sana Khan, Ashmit Patel, Sunil Shetty among others. Daboo Malik’s son Amal Malik has been signed to compose music in Jai Ho.

‘Jai Ho’ is a story of an upright common man who fights a lonely war against injustice and corruption. The film is a remake of Telugu film ‘Stalin’ and has been shot mostly in Dubai. It is slated to release on Jan 24, 2014.
