Chennai, Nov 30 (): Ilayathalapathy Vijay is busy with Nesan’s Jilla in Osaka, Japan. Reports say the actor has helped the makers of Jilla in an unexpected circumstance while they were shooting actively in Japan.
In mid-November, it was reported that the Jilla team reached Japan to do some shooting in one of the beautiful locations of Japan, Osaka. But, what we heard that the area was affected by an earthquake when the team had camped there.
The producer, R.B.Choudary, immediately asked the team to safely come back home. But the song which was thought to be shot required a certain kind of weather and colourful natural setting, which can be seen only at that time of the year in Japan. Hence the Jilla team decided to stay back in Japan until they get the favourable conditions for the shooting, then complete their work.
Osaka has an old-world appeal, with several sculptures and monuments that are both ancient and traditional. The team did not want to miss such a beautiful location.
The Jilla team also faced the problem of acquiring permission to shoot as there was tension in the city due to the earthquake scare and torrential rain. The team had already landed in Osaka; returning back to shoot would cost more and would lead to substantial loss of funds.
So, Vijay took the initiative to contact the officials to get permission to shoot at certain locales and also helped them financially to overcome unexpected expenses. Such a timely help from Vijay has pleased the entire team of ‘Jilla’.
Jilla is expected to be wrap up its shooting by the first week of December, then the post production processes would start. Directed by debutant director Nesan, the movie is produced by RB Choudary. The movie is scheduled to release for Pongal 2014 along with Ajith’s ‘Veeram’.
