World Kabaddi Cup 2013 Schedule

New Delhi, Nov 27 (): The fourth edition of the World Kabaddi Cup will be held from November 30, 2013 to December 14, 2013. The tournament will take place in Punjab, India.

Approved at a budget of Rs 20 crore, the tournament is organized by the Government of Punjab. The opening and closing ceremonies will be telecast live throughout the country and in Canada, USA, India and UK also.

The 14-day long tournament will have 12 participating nations in the men’s tournament. The women’s tournament will have 8 participating nations in it.

Men’s Kabaddi Teams

India, Argentina, USA, England, Canada, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, Iran, Denmark, Kenya, Scotland and Spain

 Te winner would bag Rs two crore while those finishing second and third would get Rs one crore and Rs 51 lakh respectively.

Women’s Kabaddi Teams

India, USA, England, Denmark, Kenya, Pakistan, Mexico and New Zealand

The winner would get Rs one crore and the second and third placed team would receive Rs 51 lakh and Rs 25 lakh respectively.
