Mumbai, Nov 27 (): The most expensive song ever created in Bollywood is from none other than the most-anticipated movie of the year Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3, the producer of the movie said.
The high-energy track is titled Malang and is hyped as Bollywood’s most expensive song till date. The number is high on energy and has been made at a whopping budget of Rs. 5 crore! The cost of the track includes the fees of the gymnasts, their costumes and the elaborate sets.
The costliest track is not yet released in the internet. The producer described Malang song will feature the lead pair of the movie, Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif. The song will display the central theme of gymnastics and will have 200 dancers in its video. All the dancers were flown especially for the song from the US and all the background dancers are expert gymnasts. The dancers stayed in India for 20 days, when they were engaged in the training and the shooting of the song.
The lyrics of the track are written by Sameer Anjaan, while the music is composed by Pritam. The expensive track was shot at Reliance Studios. Reports say, the huge set of the song took about two months to be created and the costumes used by the dancers were also quite elaborate.
Dhoom Machale, the trademark track of the film was a huge hit and the same result is expected by the makers for the new track Malang too.
Dhoom 3 will have high action sequences and the songs will also depict the same energy levels, as it did in the earlier instalments in the Dhoom series.
Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, ‘Dhoom 3′ stars Aamir khan, Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra and is slated to release on December 20, 2013.
