Moscow, Nov 5 (): The 2013 Miss Universe National Costume competition took place on Sunday, 9 pm, November 3, at the Vegas Mall in Moscow, Russia.
Miss Universe Olivia Culpo co-hosted the program in which all the 86 candidates of the show went on stage to show off their national costume.
Miss Israel took the top spot in the show. Her national costume was elaborate and her outfit was made from white cloth and elaborate gold designs in the front. She was like a goddess and her costume did everything to showcase her and her country.
The second spot was taken by Miss USA Erin Brady. She wowed the crowd with her national costume as “Transformer” Optimus Prime. She was entirely transformed into a red, white and blue Optimus Prime. The most admirable thing was that she made it look stylish and it was the best among the other national costumes.
Miss Argentina took the third place as she wore a beautifully made gold, craved top and a feathery skirt. She mesmerised the crowd with her figure and the way she carried the craved ensemble.
The fourth place was taken by Miss Great Britain. She wore a renaissance ball gown that was in every way modern.
Miss Switzerland took the fifth place; she looked as beautiful as her national costume that was made of silver and white pieces and feathers. She looked stunning.
The national costume is shown in order to represent their countries in style and in a new and dynamic way. This year’s show was elaborate and the participants and their designers did their best for their wonderful national costumes. The national costume is admired in two ways – it enables the candidate to showcase her country and also the national costume to showcase the candidate.
Miss Universe 2013 Finals will be held at Crocus City Hall in Moscow on November 9.
