Box office collection : Overseas collections of Arrambam and All in All Azhaguraja

Chennai, Nov 5 (): The two big releases of Kollywood for Deepavali -Ajith Kumar’s Arrambam and Karthi’s All in All Azhaguraja are doing good in the domestic as well as in the overseas circuits.

Here, we can have a look at their overseas collections.


The most anticipated Ajith’s film of this year did not disappoint the audience. Being released on 31 October, Arrambam received positive feedback from critics as well as audiences. The movie has taken the box office by storm and dominates other Tamil releases at the box office raking in good collections.

Film critic Sreedhar Pillai tweeted, “Deepavali Box-Office update – It is turning out 2 b Thala Deepavali. #Arrambam has taken b-o by storm. Clear number 1 by a mile!”

The overseas collections of Arrambam are on a high note. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “Tamil film #Arrambam *UK* Thu £ 34,831, Fri £ 29,868, Sat £ 40,223. Total: £ 104,922 [Rs 1.03 cr]. Note: Some screens yet to report”.

“Tamil film #Arrambam *Australia* Thu A$ 11,616, Fri A$ 11,850, Sat A$ 19,355. Total: A$ 42,821 [Rs 24.95 lacs]”.

The opening weekend collections of Arrambam in UK and Australia, including the preview shows on Thursday were also released. Reports from USA are yet to come.

Taran tweeted, “Tamil film #Arrambam is excellent. Opng wknd: UK £ 135,223 [Rs 1.34 cr]… Australia A$ 55,953 [Rs 33.05 lacs]… USA total to be updated”.

All in All Azhaguraja

The collections of Kathi starrer in the overseas circuits appear to show a low note as the film’s basic storyline is not impressive. Released on Deepavali, November 2, the film has received negative feedback and its collections are likely to drop in the coming days. Directed by Rajesh, All in All Azhaguraja has Karthi and Kajal Aggarwal playing the leads. Santhanam has teamed up with the director once again for “AAA”.

Taran tweeted, “Tamil film #AllInAllAzhaguRaja *UK* Fri £ 5,309, Sat £ 10,579. Total: £ 15,888 [Rs 15.75 lacs]”. The reports on the film’s collections at the Indian box office are expected soon.
