Jaipur, Oct 24 (TruthDive): Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has announced notification of online application for Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test 2013 (RTET 2013).
Candidates who have been waiting for RTET 2013 may start the process for online application from today, 24th October, 2013.
All details on eligibility and other vital information required for RTET 2013-14 are mentioned in the below notification. Interested candidates may go through the notification and apply online for RTET 2013-14.
Teacher Eligibility Tests are conducted twice a year in the form of Level I and Level II.
Level I contains 150 questions which is divided into five parts such as – I, II, III, IV, V.
Similarly, Level II is divided into 4 parts out of which I, II, III are mandatory.
Question papers for both the levels will have objective type questions containing 150 questions in total.
Time duration given for candidates who appear for this exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Candidates applying for the TET should have completed Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized University.
Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the written test conducted by the Rajasthan Board.
For candidates applying for Class I to V
Applicants have to qualify senior secondary with 45% marks.
Candidates with 50% marks in BA/B.Sc/B.Ed are also eligible to apply.
Final year students in any degree or Diploma can also apply.
Candidates applying for Class VI to VIII
Candidates in final year B.Ed ,B.A or B.Sc or in D.ED with 45% marks are eligible to apply.
Senior secondary candidates with 50% marks may also apply for the Teachers Eligibility Test.
Candidates with 50% in BA/B.Sc are also invited to apply for the TET.
Question Pattern (Class I to V)
>CD (Child development), PD (pedagogy) contains 30 questions with each carrying 1 mark.
> Language-1 consist 30 questions, each carries 1 mark.
> Language-2 consists 30 questions, each carries 1 mark.
> Mathematics contains 30 questions, each carries 1 mark.
> Environmental Education contains 30 questions with 1 mark each.
Question Pattern (Class VI to VIII)
>Child Development and pedagogy consists 30 questions with 1 mark each.
> Language-1 consists 30 questions with 1 mark each.
> Language-2 consists 30 questions with 1 mark each.
Start date for online submission of application- 24th October 2013
Closing date for submission of application – 18th November 2013
Exam date-29th December 2013
For Level I – 11.00 AM to 1.30 PM
For Level II – 2.00 PM to 4.30 PM

Candidates have to apply online through the official site at www.examrtet.rajasthan.gov.in
Download the application form and fill all the required details.
Filled application has to be submitted along with passport size photos affixed and other certificates that might prove the applicant’s age, educational qualification, caste etc.
Candidates are requested to note the reg no generated through the system post submission of application.
Candidates should also take a printout of the confirmation page after submission of application.
