Washington, Oct. 23 (ANI): Apple has reportedly unveiled the latest range of iPad Air, which is touted to be lighter and thinnest ever from the tech giant’s range of the flagship product, apart from a refreshed range of Macs and a new operating system.
The iPad Air weighs one pound and is said to be a ‘screaming fast iPad’ that is eight times faster than the original device launched in 2010.
The tech giant also launched its latest Mavericks computer operating system, which will be free of charge for download.
According to the Fox News, a new range of the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display has also been launched by Apple, which is touted to be thinner and lighter than earlier models.
Apple Marketing Chief Phil Schiller said that the new Mac has up to 9 hours of battery life, enough to watch the entire trilogy of ‘The Black Knight’ on one charge.
The iPad Air will hit the stores on November 1 and start at 499 dollars.
The new Macs are also priced relatively lower at 1,299 dollars for the 13-inch model, while the larger MacBook Pro, with a 15-inch display and 256 GB of storage starts at 1,999 dollars.
The Mac Pro, which is a high-end desktop computer aimed at power users, will be available in December for 2,999 dollars. (ANI)
