New Delhi, Sep 12 (): Canadian smartphone maker BlackBerry has launched its model BlackBerry 9720 in India at Rs. 15,990. It will be available in a few days in the Indian market.
The company launched BlackBerry 9720 last month in the world market. The smartphone runs on BB 7.1 OS operating system instead of the revamped BlackBerry 10 platform. The BlackBerry 9720 looks like Bold and Curve smartphone and it will be available in colour options – blue, black, purple, pink and white.
BlackBerry 9720 sports a 2.8-inch capacitive touch screen display with QWERTY keypad with a resolution of 480 X 360 pixels. It is powered by an 806MHz Tavor MG1 processor and comes with 512MB of RAM. It has an internal storage of 512 MB, expandable up to 32 GB using microSD card. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera and LED flash with a 4X digital zoom.
It is powered with a 1,450mAh battery that delivers up to 7 hours of talk time and 432 hours of standby time. It also features FM radio and connectivity options are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ aGPS and 3G. The phone uses a regular SIM card and not a micro-SIM.
