SSC CGL Tier II, III 2013 key notification, exam schedule, syllabus

New Delhi, Aug 24 (TruthDive): The Combined Graduate Level exam conducted by Staff Selection Commission is considered to be one of the most significant entrance exams in the country to get placement in various ministries and related departments.

All the year an increased number of candidates appear for this exam. The cutoff of SSC CGL Tier 1 2013 will provide the candidate an opportunity to get qualified for the Tier 2 (written exam) and Tier 3 (personal interview). Candidates who come with flying colours in all the section will be finally selected.

According to notification received SSC CGL Tier 2 ,2013 examination will be held on

  • Exam date of  Paper I & II – 01.09.2013
  • Exam date of Paper III       – 30.08.2013

To get a rough idea about the selection process for Tier 2 exam, SSC CGL Tier 1 2012 cut-offs has been provided for the welfare of the candidates.

SSC – CGL Examination Tier-II Syllabus

Paper-I

Arithmetic Ability:

Question will be based on numbers to check the ability of number sense of the candidate and to see hp far appropriately the candidate makes use of the numbers.

Paper-II

English Language & Comprehension:

Question under this section will be to check the candidate’s ability on how far he/she is familiar with English Language.

Statistics -  Collection Classification and Presentation of Statistical Data

Primary and Secondary data

Methods of data collection

Tabulation of data

Graphs and charts

Frequency distributions

Diagrammatic presentation of frequency distributions

Below given are topics from which questions from SSC – CGL Examination Tier-II are expected to be asked and also time duration details of the examination.
