Mumbai, June 25 (): Indian actress and dancing diva Sridevi is all set to perform with famous choreographer Prabhudeva at the upcoming International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards in Macau this July.
The 14th IIFA Awards return to Macau after 4 years. The award event, which will be hosted by Abhishek Bachchan and Jacqueline Fernandez, is scheduled to begin on July 4. The three-day long extravaganza will be held at the 15,000-seat Cotai Arena in the Venetian Macao.
Many Bollywood dancing divas like Deepika Padukone, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Sridevi Boney Kapoor are all set to render their sizzling performances at the awards event.
The IIFA stage will be a special stage for Sridevi, as after many years at the age of 49, she will make her comeback on stage as a performer and will groove to some of her hit numbers including ‘Hawa Hawai’, ‘Na Jane Kahan Se Ayi Hai’, ‘English Vinglish’ and also from other numbers from her three decades long career. Sridevi will also be performing along with Deepika and Maduri, which will be choreographed by Remo D’souza.
The dance sequence of the solo performance of Sridevi is being choreographed by Prabhudeva, who is also set to blaze the stage by showing some of his popular moves from ‘Muqabala’ and many other numbers.
The dance performance of Madhuri Dixit at IIFA will be her first performance at the awards ceremony. She will be seen performing to some of her hit numbers including “Ek Do Teen”, “Dance of Envy” and her recent item song from Ranbir and Deepika starrer “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani”.
As the Indian Cinema celebrates 100 years of its journey, it is expected that many big stars from the Bollywood including Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgn, who seldom attend any awards functions, might turn up for the event. Early reports said all members of the Bachchan family might also show up at the event this time.
