New Delhi, May 21 (TruthDive): According to an official announcement, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be declaring the CBSE Class 12 results 2013 on May 26, 2013.
Students who appeared for the examination are requested to obtain the results by going through the CBSE’s official website –http://cbse.nic.in/.
As the AIEE JEE (Main) exam results have already been declared, admission for IIT, NIT and other engineering institutes will soon commence. Students might eagerly wait for the results to be announced as it would likely decide their career for getting admission into various colleges.
Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan have already declared the results of their board exams. Students who appeared for the CBSE class 12 examination 2013 during the month of March are requested by the board to be ready with their roll number, roll code and school code. Students have to enter the roll number, roll code and school code to view their results.
The CBSE that works under the Union government of India has decided to host the results with the support of National Informatics Centre, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. Besides conducting a few other examinations, the CBSE which commenced in the year, 1952 takes the responsibility of conducting examinations for Class 10 and Class 12.
This year, the results of Class 12 are expected to be declared two days earlier, compared to last year which were announced on May 28.
Last year, girls outperformed boys in the CBSE Class 12 results recording 86.21 per cent against boys who recorded a pass percentage of 75.80 per cent. Chennai had the highest pass percentage record of 90.59 per cent in 2012.
