Mumbai Indians:

With just three rounds of matches to go Mumbai sit in the third second place, two points behind leaders Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals. A win for Mumbai would put them safely in the top four.

Batting has been the strong point of Mumbai so far this season. Dinesh Karthik, Rohit, Kieron Pollard and Dwayne Smith along with Tendulkar make Mumbai’s top order stronger.

In the bowling side, left arm spinner Pragyan Ohja was the only bowler to under-perform. Apart from him, bowlers Harbhajan Singh, Mitchell Johnson, Pragyan Ojha and Lasith Malinga adds more to their firepower.

Team from:

Mumbai Indians: Rohit Sharma (captain), Ricky Ponting, Abu Nechim, Akshar Patel, Aditya Tare, Aiden Blizzard, Ambati Rayudu, Amitoze Singh, Dhawal Kulkarni, Dinesh Karthik, Dwayne Smith, Glenn Maxwell, Harbhajan Singh, Jacob Oram, Jasprit Bumrah, Javed Khan, Jalaj Saxena, James Franklin, Kieron Pollard, Lasith Malinga, Mitchell Johnson, Munaf Patel, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Phil Hughes, Pawan Suyal, Pragyan Ojha, Rishi Dhawan, Sachin Tendulkar, Suryakumar Yadav, Sushant Marathe and Yuzvendra Chahal.

Sunrisers Hyderabad:

After 13 games, Sunrisers have 16 points and remain in the fifth place. Although Hyderabad claim of a fantastic bowling line-up, their batting line-up still remains weak. They need to accomplish as a unit and their batsmen need to match their bowling in such a way that they achieve comprehensive wins.

Dale Steyn has been the pillar of Hyderabad’s bowling and one of the prime reasons of their success in this season. Hyderabad will be hoping that Steyn lives up to his reputation and cleans up the famed Mumbai batting attack.

Hanuma Vihari has also pulled Hyderabad out of difficult situations with his calm batting. However, he has had a poor run failing to even reach double digit scores. Hyderabad will hope that Vihari comes back in form to stabilize the middle order.

Parthiv Patel gave best starts and his performance against Mumbai will surely strengthen Hyderabad’s position.
