New Delhi, May 1 ():The Chinese soldiers who trespassed into eastern Ladakh have further extended their movement by pitching one more tent near the face-off site in Depsang Valley, counting five structures altogether erected on April 15 causing serious concern to India. .
The Chinese trespasser also held banners declaring that it is their territory. “You are in the Chinese side,” proclaimed the banner that surfaced as if they have erected the structure in their own land challenging India’s estimation that the disaster may drive over by, when external affair minister Salman Khurshid has planned to visit Beijing.
The incursion by the Chinese is now appearing to be well-planned, which could have been possible only after getting signal from top brass in Beijing. While China is firm that India takes apart some of its bunkers and forward posts in Fukche and Chumar in eastern Ladakh, India believes that the land is within its observation of territory.
Even though the Chinese troops have not yet shown any discomfort or hateful exercise, their hanging about is raising queries on the evaluation of the PMO and the external affairs ministry that the incursion by the China troops was a restricted affair.
The fresh confirmation of China’s shameless activities has come when the simmering anger over the incursion was raised in parliament. An Indian official said that, to prevent any further escalation India will restrict their troops from Ladakh Scouts and ITBP to just about 50 to 60 at the site. If the Chinese increase the force-levels, India will also be doing the same, added the official.
Sources said that now without digging up some concessions, it is doubtful that the Chinese will approve a loss, with the military confrontation entering the third week. A discussion regarding the incursion was also held on Tuesday by the unified commanders, said sources.
