Mumbai, Apr 9 (TruthDive): Adlabs Imagica, a theme park located on the Mumbai–Pune expressway, is set to open on April 18. The project is a venture by Adlabs Entertainment Ltd.
Adlabs Imagica, 110-acre entertainment theme park, opens for public on April 18, 2013. The park is said to be India’s first theme park offering entertainment, relaxation, dining, fun, action, accommodation and shopping at a single location. The theme park has been built using world-class technology based on the Indian legacy of storytelling.
Adlabs Imagica has 21 original attractions such as the Haunted Fortress of Salimgarh, a motion-simulator chase after Mogambo in Mr India – The Ride and the land of dinosaurs in Rajasaurus River Adventure. The roller-coasters that drop from dazzling heights is also one among the nerve testing entertainments. The park has four restaurants offering global cuisine. A 300-room hotel and water park are also planned.
The park can provide accommodations to as many as 20,000 visitors at a time. Chairman of Adlabs Entertainment Ltd, Mr. Manmohan Shetty said that Adlabs Imagica is the effort of many years to bring international experiences home and they are targeting to host over 3 million visitors in the first year of operations.
The entertainment theme park is perhaps the first theme park in India to allow online booking of tickets. The ticketing website opened on April 5 and the website has been powered by Infibeam.
AEL has gathered a multi-dimensional and a highly diversified team from Infibeam to develop a personalised implementation to make sure that customers/visitors have a seamless experience booking tickets digitally.
Adlabs Imagica ticket rates for the launch period, from 18th to 30th April are as follows.
Weekday- Adults and children is Rs. 1200 and Rs. 900 respectively
• Weekend/Holiday Adults and children is Rs. 1500 and Rs. 1200 respectively
• Imagica Express, which allows fast track access to select top attractions during Weekends- Adults and children is Rs. 2200 and Rs. 1900 respectively.
