New York, Apr. 3 (ANI): Michelle Obama hosted Harrison Ford, Chadwick Boseman for a student workshop in White House on Jackie Robinson’s biopic ’42.’
The First Lady, who had previously hosted a student workshop on the Oscar nominated ‘Beasts of the Southern Wild,’ said that she and the President watched the movie over the weekend and were deeply moved by the film, the New York Daily News reported.
Ford, plays Major League Baseball executive Branch Rickey in the film, was joined by Chadwick Boseman, who plays Robinson, as well as screenwriter and director Brian Helgeland at the workshop.
The baseball great’s widow, 90-year-old Rachel Robinson, also attended the event and was praised by Michelle as “a woman of strength, of courage, conviction.” (ANI)
