New Delhi, Apr 1 (TruthDive): Commenting on the re-induction of Gujarat Chief Minister into the BJP core group, Union Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal on Sunday described saying that the entry of Narendra Modi is going to cost heavily for the BJP and will no doubt end in self-destruction.
Sibal also added that Modi has been looking to take over the party and his real goal is to capture the BJP. There will be no BJP, once Modi takes over it, said the Union Telecom Minister. Sibal claimed saying that only time will say whether the party would survive or not with this kind of situation.
Expressing his concern over the BJP’s decision to sideline veteran leader like Yashwant Sinha, Sibal said that it is now evident that the BJP throws out someone who emerges to fight for the cause of the party.
Responding to the BJP’s decision to appoint former Gujarat Home Minister Amit Shah as general secretary of the party, Sibal said that Shah is a man with serious charges which might even lead the party to destruction.
Meanwhile, reacting sharply to Modi’s elevation and the possibility of being selected as the BJP’s prime ministerial candidate, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi said that everyone has a right to dream and can dream to become the prime minister.
Urging that Prime Minister has to be a secular person who wishes to develop backward states, Bihar JDU leader Neeraj Kumar claimed that the party is still having time to choose the right person as prime ministerial candidate of the NDA.
Keeping in mind the geographical and caste equations, the BJP has formed a team that has to provide an alternative to the corrupt UPA government. Party president Rajnath Singh after consulting with the BJP high command made the appointment in which former Karnataka chief minister Sadananda Gowda, Varun Gandhi, Ramlal, Smriti Irani, Amit Shah, and Uma Bharti got key posts.
