New York, Mar. 27 (ANI): Just 57 percent of Ferrari drivers enjoy driving, while owners of other luxury cars including BMW, Aston Martin, and Lexus are among the happiest drivers in the world, according to a survey by British insurance company AXA.
A majority of Volvo owners reported they were unhappy drivers.
Despite Ferrari’s low ranking, luxury car owners fare well overall. BMW owners topped the charts, with 82 percent responding that they enjoyed driving. Lexus and Aston Martin drivers followed up with 78 percent happiness, reports New York Daily News.
Swap that Ferrari for a more sensible Honda and happiness rates improve dramatically, with 74 percent of drivers reporting that they enjoyed driving.
Despite having similar reliability and safety records as Honda, Volvo bottomed out the survey. Less than half of Volvo drivers – just 46 percent – reported that driving made them happy. In fact, 20 percent of all Volvo drivers saw driving as just another way of getting to their destination.
Happiness ratings were affected by a variety of factors including traffic jams, maintenance costs, and rising gas prices and tolls. (ANI)
