New Delhi, Jan 23 (): Mahindra and Mahindra had announced the launch of Executive edition of its B-segment sedan Verito yesterday, targeted primarily at professionals, corporate executives and businessmen. The special edition Verito, a high-end variant has been competitively priced at a starting price of Rs 7.75 lakh, ex-Delhi.
This special edition comes with 1.6 litre petrol engine or from the 1.5 litre dCi turbo diesel unit. The regular variants of Verito use a 1.4 litre petrol engine.
The car has been launched in the exclusive peal white colour, has leather upholstery,has Italian leather seat and leather-wrapped steering wheel. It also features a new touch screen navigation unit as also a Bluetooth-enabled music system. The other features include ABS, air-bags, crumple zones as standard and immobilizer.
The car has alloy wheels, blue vision headlamps, body decals and executive edition badging on the outside to have a unique look.
On the launch of the Verito Executive edition, chief executive, automotive division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., Mr. Pravin Shah said that the Verito Executive edition will add a premium and aspiration quotient to the sedan. The features of this special edition have been carefully chosen to meet out the increasing customer demand and aspiration for a stylish sedan.
He also added that the new Look Verito offers class-leading comfort and space, excellent mileage, a high performance engine, and a solid build quality which handles Indian roads effortlessly. With this launch customers can now opt for an even more premium offering at a very sensible price.
Earlier, Mahindra & Mahindra had launched its premium sports utility vehicle Rexton at Kolkata. It has a 2.7 litre, 184 bhp power engine that has been priced between Rs 18.73 lakh and Rs 20.93 lakh, ex-showroom Kolkata.
The car will be available in two variants, RX5 and RX7 and four colours, Moondust Silver, Satin White, Opulent Purple and Volcano Black.
