London, Jan 1 (ANI): Novak Djokovic reportedly got hurt while signing autographs for fans at a tournament in Australia.
The world’s top tennis player hurt his leg after a board surrounding the court collapsed as a group of supporters, including children, pushed towards him, Sky News reported.
The 25-year-old player is said to have left his racquets and bag on the court and limped along the players’ tunnel to get a medical check in the locker room.
Djokovic was unable to appear for a television interview, which he had promised after his 6-3, 6-4 victory over Italian Andreas Seppi in the Hopman Cup.
He later recovered from the injury to participate in a doubles match which was won by Italy 7-6, 6-4. (ANI)
