Washington, Dec. 12 (ANI): Lost presidential candidate Mitt Romney is finally a winner – for speaking a load of gibberish.
Romney, 65, led the way at the annual Golden Bull awards for talking ‘gobbledygook’.
According to the Sun, the gaffe-prone politician tied himself in knots on his way to defeat in the recent US election to Barack Obama.
“I believe in an America where millions of Americans believe in an America that’s the America millions of Americans believe in. That’s the America I love,” Romney said.
Romney’s speech earned him the ‘Foot In Mouth Award’ by the Plain English Campaign, the report said.
Other Golden Bull winners included NHS North Staffordshire for its management nonsense.
“There was not currently a gap on the spectrum of adequacy sufficient to conclude that the provision of pharmaceutical services is not currently secured to the standard of adequacy,” it wrote.
NHS Tayside was also recognised for saying it planned to adopt a ‘dashboard approach to performance reporting and assurance’.
TV host Clare Balding was honoured for her ‘faultless’ presenting during the Olympics. (ANI)
