Hyderabad, Nov 29 (): The much-expected movie Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum- KVJ, starring Telugu actor Rana Daggubati, opens in about 1,000 screens worldwide on November 30, Friday, the same day Aamir Khan’s big Bollywood release Talaash hit the screens. Both the movies are set to clash with one another at the box office.
Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum is an action-adventure movie directed by Krish, in which Rana plays the role of a B Tech Babu, a reluctant theatre actor. In the movie, Rana is paired opposite actress Nayanathara, who plays a journalist.
Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum is a bilingual film. This social-drama has been made both in Telugu and Tamil. Rana has left no stone unturned to promote ‘Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum’, as he wishes to impress as a mass hero and to compensate for quite a number of flops to his credit. In a career span of three years, with seeing mostly flops, he did not miss to receive good reviews for his performance.
Whereas, Talaash is a suspense thriller movie produced by Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and Aamir Khan. Reema Kagti has directed the movie and this movie is Aamir’s first release after 3 Idiots. In the movie, Aamir Khan plays a police inspector – Surjan Singh Shekhawat, who tries to solve a murder mystery of an actor, who was killed in an accident.
Rani Mukherjee plays an Indian housewife, wife of Aamir Khan. Kareena Kapoor plays a sex worker in the film. The movie is filmed in about 50 locations in Mumbai. So, Mumbai will almost play a character in the film.
The pre-booking status says Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum and Talaash have opened well. Both Aamir and Rana are known for extensive and innovative promotions of their movies. So, it looks both the movies are likely to play a tough game in the court of box office.
