BJP to hold countrywide protest against UPA-II on Nov 21 over FDI

New Delhi, Nov 16 (TruthDive): Planning to build opposition against the ruling UPA, the Bharatiya Janata Party has decided to take a countrywide protest against the ruling government over FDI, corruption and price rise on Nov 21 ahead of the winter session that begins the next day.

Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi , BJP Vice-President alleged that the rally ‘halla bol’ will be held on Nov 21 in which the party senior leaders all over the country will take part.

In Mumbai, the rally will be headed by Arun Jaitley, in Delhi both Rajnath Singh and Murli  Manohar Joshi will be leading, whereas Ravi Shankar Prasad will be holding in Jaipur. Shockingly BJP chief Nitin Gadkari, who has been levelled corruption charges has decided to campaign at Itanagar, in Arunachal Pradesh.

Not accepting the argument of not paying  much heed to the BJP president following his involvement in the Purti scam, Mr Naqvi said, “Nitinji himself has wished to hold a rally in Itanagar. The BJP always has a soft corner towards the North-East and gives more importance to the region than any other. In the past both Venkaiah Naidu and Rajnath Singhhave also held rallies in the north-east area.”

Focusing mainly on 2G spectrum scam, the BJP has decided to take the rally against the government making the corruption issue its focus area of attack and has made clear the UPA government to clarify its stand on corruption and controversial issues like the FDI in retail.

A notice has been submitted by the Left parties requesting for a postponement on FDI, which if conducted will lead to a possible dispute and a vote.

In the wake of rumour of clash with Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP has announced that both Mr Gadkari and BJP senior leader LK Advani will be participating in the campaign for the upcoming Gujarat assembly polls along with the Gujarat Chief Minister.
