Mumbai, Nov 1 (): Karishma Kotak, a British Indian TV presenter, actress, model and one of the Bigg Boss sixth season house inmates, who was chosen for the eviction from the show this week, has left following the demise of her father.
Last evening, the model was called to the confession room and she was informed about the health of her father. She was offered two options either to leave or stay in the house.
The statement issued today by Colors Channel said, “The contestant of the sixth season of Bigg Boss model Karishma Kotak has left the house after about four weeks of stay from entering the house due to family emergency. She had to urgently leave the house of Bigg Boss as her father, who was ill from liver sclerosis, passed away last evening”.
Karishma’s stay inside the house of ‘Bigg Boss’ has been very good. She always stayed away from the controversies. The model turned actress was considered as a reserved individual initially and lately she had begun to open up her mind and mingle with other inmates.
From the start of the show, she was so close to Niketan only and later she was close with Sidhu. After a few days, the inmates got to see her transform from a reserved to a bubbly individual.
The celebrity participants, who were nominated for this week’s eviction, included Karishma Kotak, Sampat Lal – the leader of Gulab Gang, Aseem Trivedi – the controversial cartoonist and Sapna Bhavnani – the hairstylist.
The famous TV reality show started on 7th October with 15 contestants. The contestant who got evicted from the show first was Dinesh Yadav, the Bhojpuri actor. The others who were eliminated are Kashif Qureshi – common man and Sayantani Ghosh – actress. They have been eliminated from the show after considering the votes of the viewers.
