New Delhi, Oct 16 (TruthDive): Ford India launched all new facelifted Figo in India yesterday. The new Figo has both diesel and petrol variants. The New Delhi ex-showroom price starts from Rs 3.85 lakhs for petrol variant and Rs 4.81 lakhs for diesel variant.
The first Ford figo was launched in India in March 2010. During the launch of the new Ford Figo, the company said that they had incorporated about 100 changes in the new Figo.
The new Figo claims of having a new headlamp design and redesigned bumper. There are modified tail lamps and new alloy wheels on offer. The changes inside the car include new seat design and new upholstery. The music system of the model has been facelifted and the audio controls are mounted on the steering.
As far as the car’s engines are concerned, the company claims gear shifter mechanism and improved engine calibration as providing better pick-up. But the power and torque figures of 69PS/160Nm and 71PS/102Nm for the diesel and petrol engines remain unaltered from the old model car. NVH is also said to have been improved inside the cabin with the use of double bulb weather strips. The new Ford Figo comes in two new colors – Bright Yellow and Kinetic Blue.
All new facelifted cars of Ford Figo are available in 4 variants each for diesel and petrol – Titanium, EXI, LXI and ZXI. New Ford Figo car is compact and small and is predicted to draw good sales in the coming festive season. Improved features and competitive pricing are considered as the main factors for the new car to take major attention.
