Chennai, Oct 14 (TruthDive): Vishwaroopam, Kamal Haasan’s most anticipated flick underwent censor board screening for its certification on Tuesday, October 9. The Tamil version of the film has bagged U/A certificate with some minor cuts while its Hindi version, ‘Viswaroop’ has bagged ‘A’ certificate, without any cuts.
The interesting news is the audio launch of Vishwaroopam is planned on November 7 on Kamal Haasan’s birthday. The music release will be a special treat for all Kamal’s fans on his birthday. The grand event would take place in three major cities – Chennai, Madurai and Coimbatore.
The next special treat is Kamal would visit all the events in the three cities to give a special appearance to all his fans. Kamal turns 58 on that day.
Vishwaroopam is a trilingual spy thriller Indian film, releasing in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. The film stars Kamal Haasan, Andrea Jeremiah, Pooja Kumar, Rahul Bose, Jaideep Ahlawat, Zarina Wahab, Nassar, Miles Anderson and many more in cast. Kamal has a lot of responsibilities in the movie. He has written the story, dialogue and screenplay. Above all, Kamal is the co-producer, director and plays the lead role in the movie.
Cinematography is done by Sanu Verghese. Shankar, Eshaan, Loy have scored music for the film. They have scored music for Kamal’s Aalavandhan earlier. Vairamuthu has penned Tamil lyrics and Javed Akhtar has penned Hindi lyrics.
The shooting for the film has been done extensively in Canada, US and also in Mumbai and Chennai. The film is made with Auro 3D sound format, making it the first film in India and the second film in the world, to do so.
Earlier reports said that Vishwaroopam was expected to release in November on Diwali day, but the release was later postponed to Pongal on January 2013. The latest changes such as certification have made traders to think whether the movie would hit the screens early.
