New Delhi, Oct 1 (): Anti-crusader Anna Hazare who has been saying these days that he will not get involved in Arvind Kejriwal’s political agendas, took a soft corner by extending support to Kejriwal if he contest the Delhi assembly polls in 2013 elections.
A fort night back both Kejriwal and Anna had a quarrel as Anna was against Kejriwals idea of entering into politics. But today in a sudden change Anna has announced his aim of supporting Kejriwal in the Delhi assembly polls.
For the first time after Anna parted his ways with Arvind Kejriwal, both Kejriwal and Sisodia met Anna today who was in a meeting with a group of ex-bureaucrats and army officers discussing about the teams anti-corruption movement.
It was believed that both Kejriwal and Sisodia spent twenty minutes with the anti-crusader in New Delhi. While talking to reporters Anna declared that he had decided to support Arvind kejriwal in his election campaign but has no intention to join his political force.
Anna’s decision to support Kejriwal came as a surprise to many who assumed that there are no possibilities of Anna once again joining with Kejriwal after the recent split.
When asked by reporters whether Anna instigated the idea of launching a political party into Kejriwal’s mind as claimed by the later to which Anna strongly opposed and said, “It is rubbish, I have never said any one this. If it is true then we would have had a split at that point.”
Today’s meeting was attended by forty people including two DGPs from Punjab, Kerala, in addition to former Chief Justice of the Kolkata High Court and also some retired army officers.
Even members from previous Team Anna were also present in the meeting in which Kiran Bedi also made her presence adding grace to the meeting which lasted for nearly six hours. Anna also had discussions with his volunteers who took part in the Sunday meeting.
