Tuesday – 2.05 cr

The overseas box office collection for LIB was steady in its first week. In USA, the collection is about 2 cr, which is higher than the collection of Sudigaadu movie, which has collected 1.2 cr till date and Shirdi Sai, which has collected nearly 1.12 cr till now.
Sekhar Kammula’s previous movies like Anand, Happy Days and Godavari fared well in the Indian as well as overseas markets. Although LIB received mixed reviews from film critics, the film is cashing money in the box office for the director’s image and the pre-release expectations.
Sekhar has shot the middle class family scenes very beautifully, which is the major asset to the movie. Debutants have all performed well in their respective roles. It has also got one more plus point by Amala’s performance oriented role.
