New Delhi, Sep 21 (): HCL Infosystems, India’s premier hardware Company launches its first Ultrabook, named HCL Ultrasmart ME Series 3074 and the price of this Ultrabook will start from Rs. 51,990.
The Ultrasmart ME is powered by an Intel core 3rd Generation HM77 Chipset i3 processor and equipped with Intel HD 4000 graphics. The series 3074 is made by metal casing, just 18 mm thick and weighs just 1.7 kg.
The device is designed to feature the reduced weight and size, without compromising the battery life and the performance. It has a backup time of up to seven hours; this latest ultrabook is well designed with the superior responsive system to resume the features within five seconds.
The device comes with a 14” screen and has a 1366 x 768 resolution with LED backlit display. The device has 4 GB DDR3 RAM which can be upgraded to 8GB. The internal hard disk storage of the machine is 32 GB SSD and USB 3.0/ 2.0 connectivity. The other features are 1.3 MP VGA camera, in-built microphone, HDMI, Bluetooth 4.0, 4-in-1 memory card reader, Ethernet, integrated Wi-fi and 10/100/1000 Mbps LAN connectivity. It has a built-in multi-gesture touchpad.

The hybrid driver Ultrasmart ME version is priced at Rs. 52,990. The other version of the ultrabook with 128 GB SSD is priced at Rs. 54,990. Ultrasmart ME Series 3074 will be available in the retail stores from next week, the company stated.
HCL Infosys has planned to launch three more devices in the Ultrabook segment in next three months. It comes with a warranty of 39 months.
