Riteish-Genelia’s Sangeet party by Karan Johar

Mumbai, Jan 29 (TruthDive): Bollywood filmmaker, Karan Johar who considers the Hindi cinema industry to be one big happy family has decided to direct the Sangeet ceremony for Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza’s wedding to be held on February 1, at a suburban five star.

Riteish and Genelia’s wedding is the first celebrity wedding of the year 2012. The couple is making sure that their wedding doesn’t fall even short of the word ‘magnificent’. And in order to achieve that end, they have endowed Karan Johar with the responsibility of directing their Sangeet ceremony.

With Karan Johar roped in, the ceremony is definitely going to be a grand affair. The function is to take place at a five star in Mumbai on February 1, at a suburban five star.

Karan coordinated the entire Sangeet ceremony for the big Bachchan wedding between Abhi-Ash in April 2007.

Karan Johar believes the Hindi cinema industry to be one big happy family and would direct the Sangeet ceremony in his style. In spite of all his scheduled works, he is busy coordinating the song and dance acts and also designing the outfit for the groom-to-be. Karan is taking immense pleasure in designing Riteish’s outfit for the evening

“KJo is very busy with his new releases Agneepath and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu. However, he is leaving no stone unturned to co-ordinate everything for the sangeet. In fact, he even made it a point to attend the pre-wedding bash held by Fardeen Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala on Tuesday night,” added the friend.

Riteish’s brother Dheeraj has also decided to put up an act for the ceremony. Joining him in the act will be his wife Honey and brother-in-law Jaccky Bhagnani. “In fact the rehearsals for the dance acts are being conducted in Jackky’s house regularly,” said Riteish’s friend.

With KJo directing the Sangeet, Riteish and Genelia are definitely looking forward to an unforgettable experience!
