Singapore, June 15 (): After getting dicharged from the hospital, Rajnikant spoke to Jayalalitha and Karunanidhi. He thanked Jayalalitha for her wishes when he was in the hospital. He also congratulated her on her victory and told her he was staying back for a few tests and would be in Chennai after one month. When Rajnikant was in Sri Ramachandra hospital Jayalalitha had spoken to his wife Latha and wished him speedy recovery.
“You have faced so many ups and downs in life. It is important that you take care of your health. You should not consider anything (else) big,” Karunanidhi said in his telephonic conversation with the 61-year-old actor.
A DMK release here said that the 88 year-old party patriarch expressed happiness at the improvement of Rajnikanth’s health, who was discharged from a Singapore hospital yesterday, and hoped for his early return to Chennai.
Earlier Dhanush – son in law of the Superstar tweeted that he has been discharged from the Singapore hospital but will not come immediately to Chennai. Rajnikanth, who had suffered from exhaustion on April 29, the first day of the shoot of his latest venture Rana, was admitted to the Singapore hospital after he underwent initial treatment at Isabel hospital and Sri Ramchandra hospital in Chennai. He was taken to Singapore’s top hospital, the Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre, for further treatment.
Dhanush who kept shuttling between Chennai and Singapore revealed that though intially Rajnikant was to undergo a kidney transplant the medicines that were administered restored his condition back to normal.
Meanwhile grounds are getting ready for starting work on Raana since the dates have to be realtered especially the dates of the heroines.
