IndiaGujarat Mass Murder – Demand justice on the 8th anniversary
நெற்றிக்கண் திறப்பினும் குற்றம் குற்றமே “Even if you show your third eye, a mistake is always a mistake” says Nakkirar, a medieval Tamil poet, against Lord Shiva, to emphasize that the truth is to be told with utmost courage even if the contender is Almighty with full of anger!
Most of the best men the world has ever produced were religious philosophers and most of the worst men that the world has ever produced were religious fanatics. Jesus Christ preached non violence and the crusaders had nothing to do with the teachings of jesus. Advaitha philosophy is all about love and compassion not only towards the fellow human beings but also towards every form of living beings. However the saivites in tamilnadu killed the jains and vaishnavites. The Vaishnava philosopher Shri Ramanujar was targeted by the saivite king and his disciple Periya Nambi was tortured to death in the name of saivism. Its very easy to say that those crusaders, saivite kings were just religious fanatics and the murders carried out in the name of religion were contradictory to the teachings of religious philosophy.
Why is it difficult to call the perpetrators of mass murder in Gujarath as religious fanatics? Nearly 2000 innocent civilians were brutally killed and thousands were displaced purely because they happen to follow a different faith system. State functionaries of Gujarat were abetting and facilitating atrocities on the minority in the wake of Godhara violence in february 2002.
How different are these murders from those carried out by the religious fanatic kings? Is it not time to introspect and come to a conclusion that the organizations that carry out these “holy killings” are producing the worst men in the world and are against the religious philosophy? Should Sangh Parivar be allowed to hijack the Hinduism and spread the venom of hatred against other religions rather than preaching the rich philosophies that talk about love and compassion towards the world and the fellow human beings?
It is appalling to see the common masses being carried away by the hate speech. It is the poor who will be exploited by these parivar outfits to carry out attacks on minorities. Kambar in his literature on Ramayan, condemns Ram for killing Vaali against the Code of Conduct in war and calls that as an unacceptable act of cowardice. On the final day of the war, when Ravan lost his weapons Ram says இன்று போய் நாளை வா “Go and come back the next day with the weapon” as it is against the code of conduct of war to kill an unarmed person. Mahabharath, an epic based on war for justice puts severe restriction on how to carry out a war. It is not allowed to kill women, children and any unarmed person during the war. The Geneva convetion also tells the same.
However, the brutal hindutva organizations with the help of state machinery killed more than 2000 innocent civilians and gang raped the women, at the end of february 2002. Even the pregnant women were not spared. All these barbaric atrocities were carried out by shouting the slogan “Jai Shree Ram”. Is this what Lord Ram stands for? Are these Ram Bhaktha’s preaching Hinduism? Is there any correlation between what they do and what is said in hindu literatures? Why should the hindus put up with these barbarians?
The AIADMK cadres attacked the Coimbatore Agricultural university bus in Dharmapuri and burnt three girls alive, would any of us be willing to support those murders just because they are hindus? When the Dinakaran office was attacked and the journalists there were burnt alive, would any of us be willing to support those murderers? Isnt the entire country happy to see Ruchika’s case being digged out after 18 years and Rathore being questioned/punished? Why are the murderers being applauded in Gujarath and all over the country by hindu fundamentalists? Don’t we see a moral failure here?
The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who in times of great moral crises maintain their neutrality – Dante Alighieri
Let us be bold enough to reject the religious fanatics and bring justice to the victims of state sponsored terrorism. Those who were accused of carrying out the Godhra train attack, which killed 58 lives, have been detained and are in jail without bail for 8 years. However, even after 8 years the perpetrators of mass murder are not brought to book. In the Best Bakery case all those who were accused of killing 14 people were acquitted by the fast track court. The supreme court then transferred the case to Maharashtra. The rest of the cases are all being handled in Gujarath. The Human Rights Watch has said the following.
The Supreme Court order affirms what victims and their lawyers have been saying all along. Gujarat’s police and justice system are protecting the guilty and are undermining activists, lawyers and even the National Human Rights Commission. For justice to be done for victims of the Gujarat riots, impartial investigations have to be conducted and witnesses have to be protected so they can testify without fear. - Brad Adams executive director of Human Rights Watch’s Asia Division
The issue is not only about the religion being hijacked by fanatics and innocent people being killed but also about upholding the constitution. Irrespective of ones faith system, it is the duty of a responsible citizen to demand that the criminals be punished according to the law.
Video recording of the confessions of some persons who implicated themselves and also many state functionaries of Gujarat in the unleashing of violence on the muslims were telecasted by the TV Channel Aaj Tak. In april 2009, Supreme court ordered probe in to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s role in Gujarat riots. Citizens for justice and peace (CJP), an NGO, that works towards the communal harmony and for development of Peace, Justice and reconciliation have pointed out the grave failures of the Special Investigation Team’s (SIT) investigation set up by the Supreme Court. The application made by Teesta Setalvad, CJP will be heard on 15th march 2010. The major issue highlighted in her application is that the special investigations team has not re-investigated significant issues including the state complicity and involvement revealed by Tehelka. It also accuses the SIT members of trying to shield the higher ranking officials among the Gujarat police, administration and state executive. Let us show our solidarity to the victim survivors in their struggle for dignity, justice, reparation and against the impunity enjoyed by perpetrators of mass crimes in India.
Here, i quote part of the Upanishads that says “Sathyameva jayathe”, not hoping that God will solve this problem but to alert the believers that they should stand with justice and NOT with the sangh parivar outfits which has vowed to carry out this Gujarath experiment all over the country.
Truth alone triumphs; not falsehood.
Through truth the divine path is spread out by which
the sages whose desires have been completely fulfilled,
reach where that supreme treasure of Truth resides.
Let us not tolerate the criminals, liars and murderers anymore and Let the Justice prevail.

I am not even going to comment item by item since these accusations have been repeated ad nauseum without submitting iota of evidence to the investigative agencies. The only comment I will make is – how come 200+ people – Muslims & Hindus – died in police firing during Gujarat riots (that resulted in about 1200 deaths) and NONE died from police firing in Delhi that resulted in 10,000+ Sikhs being killed in 1984 (after Indira Gandhi’s assassination)?
Given the greater order of magnitude of killings of Sikhs in Delhi, how many times & how passionately have you written about those killings?
Narendra Modi has kept quiet while the Nanavati Commission and Supreme Court investigate all cases. That takes lot of guts when the media is spreading venom against him for years. It is obvious that you do not believe in “innocent unless proven guilty” when it comes to Modi.
Any riots of this scale will always have some suggestions for how to improve government response. However, if Nanavati Commission and Supreme Court find that Narendra Modi government did not engage in state-mobilized mass killings and in fact did their best to minimize killings, how are you going to undo years of damage done to Brand Gujarat by spreading such venom? Will you have the guts to apologize as many times, in as many pages, for as long and with as much prominence and publicity as you have spread these lies for so long? A simple YES or NO will do.
Barring such a simple answer, you are just another person who writes utter trash since someone is willing to publish it.

Will you have the guts to say that Karunanidhi, Jayalalitha and all their ministers have amassed wealth legally? None of them can be proven in the court that they did corruption. Karunanidhi is one of Asia’s richest man and we cant prove that he did corruption to amass the wealth. Does it mean that we cant criticise any of the TN chief ministers, ministers, MLAs of corruption if we cant prove in the court? Mass murder did happen. It is a recorded fact. Your own BJP leaders have confessed that the govt did give them few days time to carry out the maximum possible “holy act” shouting the slogan “Jai Shree Ram”…..

I take your response as a NO to my Q that you do not have guts to apologize as many times, in as many pages, for as long and with as much prominence and publicity as you have spread these lies for so long.
I am all for investigating any & every corruption charge against everyone. There is a BIG difference between that and Modi. No supreme court appointed Special Investigation team or State-level commission has investigated such corrupt politicians. Hence it’s OK for you to presume the innocence or guilt of these politicians in regards to corruption as you please. Modi, on the other hand, IS being investigated for 7+ years now – both by a Commission (headed by an esteemed retired Judge of the Supreme Court – Justice Nanavati) and Supreme Court appointed Special Investigation Team (headed by none other than former CBI chief who is NOT a BJP man). Modi has also kept quiet all along until the inquiry is complete while all of you have engaged in an orgy of criticism.
Narendra Modi himself asked Guj. High Court & India’s Supreme Court to nominate a sitting judge for the Commission of Inquiry. They offered to nominate retired judges. He appointed who ever were nominated, no Qs asked. He would have been within his constitutional powers as CM to appoint ANYONE he wants.
But all of these are mere uncomfortable truths to be ignored in your fantasy world of hate-Modi. You can keep your head in the sand and claim that the world is blind. But the last laugh will be on you when the 2 reports are out. You should thank Modi for putting food on your table since your ilks have made a career out of bad-mouthing Narendra Modi and hurting Brand Gujrat.

This is the only time Modi spoke in details on the Godhra-Gujarat riots episode after the first part of the Nanavati Commission was out proving that Godhra train burning was pre-planned. It is a MUST WATCH for anyone interested in knwoing the full background.

Before any charges are made against Narendra Modi Government, the crminials, who performed Godhra crime should be exposed and charged……The lifes of Hindus are not lesser atleast in India, though it may be the case in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
If Godhra case can not be exposed, then forget the whole Gujarat incident.

Well said Ronin. I am all for justice for everyone. What we should not do is blame it on Narendra Modi if we do not bring real culprits to the book.
There are many in Indian media for whom it is not a question of whether Modi is guilty (for them he is), but a litmus test of whether the justice system works. Thus, for them it is the justice system that is on trial more so than Modi. For them any inconvenient truth that does not fit their presumption of Modi’s guilt is a lie and any fictional concoction fitting their presumption is a justified sin in support of a grater good! For far too long, these people have not been made to answer tough questions challenging their presumptions.
While Modi has kept quiet all along,, he broke his silence only once when the first part of the Nanavati Commission report was submitted proving that Godhra train burning was pre-planned. All 4 parts of his response are a MUST WATCH for anyone interested in knwoing the full background. You can skip the first 4 minutes since he talks about the specific inauguration ceremony he was attending.

Dhananjay,
I dont know if Modi is so sure of his innocence as you are..I don’t say this out of conflict but by studying people’s specifically positioning/posturing in terms of public perception..
Haren pandya was a minister during this period. There were rumors that a minister admitted to the commission that the govt gave the killers couple of days to do their work..asking cops to keep quite..
Eventually it turned out Haren Pandya was the one who let the cat out..It goes without saying his security was lapse and he was murdered after that..His family cried foul against Modi and eventually quietened for elections..Tehelka interviewed some of the rioters(ofcourse part of the killers) who belonged to Bajrang dal. I have not watched the interviews but I am told that they had tacit support from govt..
Thousand people cant be murdered in a state in couple of days that easily..Govt has police force, guns and if needed CRPF and army to stop this stuff..When Hindu muslim violence was a big thing in UP, Mulayam built and RAF which reduced riot deaths so easily..
So did Modi take a knife and butcher anyone..not that I know of..Did he intend to and support murders..I would say all loose ends point to an yes..I will have to be an innocent child to think he is innocent..
Can a ruler do better things, yes..Police force was supposedly brutal in Muslim rioters and also innocents after a Muslim riot in Coimbatore..It has been quite murder/riot free after that..

There has been so much mud thrown at Modi & BJP that most people, like you, believe that there must be fire where there is smoke.
Here are a few things to consider:
1. Gordhan Zadafia (& not Hiren Pandya) was Gujarat’s Minister of State for Home at the time of Godhra train burning incidence and Gujarat riots. Do you believe that any directives could have been given to the police force without him being involved in the decision-making? He is now a sworn enemy of Narendra Modi and even now has not accused Modi of any intentional dereliction of his duty. If he had beans to spill, he could have easily done so in public OR leaked incriminating documents or evidence against Modi. Tehelka’s & Teesta Setalvads’ of the world would have happily picked up on that.
2. Do you believe in the credentials of retired Supreme Court Justice Nanavati? Do you believe in his impartiality & ability to sift through fluff & media hype and focus on real evidence on hand?
3. Do you believe in the credentials of retired CBI Chief Raghavan who has been appointed by the Supreme Court of India to do the same?
4. Did you know how fast the Gujarat Government moved? On Feb. 27, 2 train bogeys were burned, On February 28th evening the potential for riots had become apparent. Narendra Modi announced his decision to deploy the Army, and the next day, March 1st, by 11 A.M. the actual deployment of troops at sensitive points had begun. Never before was military deployed faster. Even for the Mumbai terror on 26/11, UPA took very long time to deploy 30-50 NSG commandos to Mumbai.
5. Here is the funniest part of this. Many in the media used these precise dates to make a point that Modi gave a free hand to the Hindu mobs for 3 days (between Feb. 28th & March 1st) to kill Muslims. Believe it or not, this happened on live TV. When the retired police officer from Gujarat (being interviewed) pointed out that there were no 3 days between Feb. 28th & March 1st (March 1st IS the day after Feb. 28th) he was abruptly dropped from the call on live television. This is the kind of media Goebbelization that has villianised Modi
6. Modi requested police forces from states surrounding Gujarat – Maharashtra, MP & Rajasthan on 28th of Feb itself. Guess what was there answer? They all declined to send in police forces. No marks for guessing who was ruling in each of those 3 states? Congress. Don’t take my word for it. Watch this video – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXyfxy85dsA especially after 4:15 min.
7. For the first time in the history of India, a CM (Modi) included in the terms of reference of the Nanavati Commission that he constituted, specific directives that the commission investigate any direct or indirect role played by the chief minister or his council of ministers in instigating riots or in failing to perform their duty. Why would Modi risk his political career if he had something to hide that too when such competent judges (recommended by the Gujarat High Court & India’s Supreme Court) were to investigate the Godhra Train Burning Incidence and riots that followed? Neither the Commission nor the Supreme Court appointed Special Investigation team have complained about the lack of cooperation from the government.
8. If you honestly believe that 1000+ people could not have died without covert or overt support of the government, why do we not say the same about anti-Sikh riots in Delhi in 1984 & Mumbai riots in 1993? What about thousands of deaths all over India before 1980 when BJP was not a significant presence in most places and eve today is not a significant presence in the east & south of India?
What has happed is that Congress & Leftist have created a distraction in the name of BJP to scare people about BJP while their loot of the nation continues. People are being distracted with a scare that does not exist so that these corrupt politicians can continue to fill their coffers. If BJP were against Muslims, why would BJP make Dr. Abdul Kalam India’s President?

I believe that you have it within you to remove the tainted glasses and take a fresh look at BJP & even Sangh for that matter. Don’t form your opinions just by reading things. Go visit local RSS shakhas (even undercover w/o telling people who you are) and see for yourself what they do, teach young kids for at least a month.
Another suggestion is for you to apply the SAME standards (by which you judge Modi or BJP) to every one else.
No one even for a minute is justifying the loss of innocent life and the guilty ones should be punished to the toughtest possible extent EVERYWHERE. After all, innocent life lost has no religion. We all have the same blood in us.

While I have always been suspicious of news media & open to the possibility of a different story being behind the whole Godhra – Gujarat episode, I have always believed in the justice system of India. The arguments made by Dhananjay in his postings above do not smack of any blind justification of Modi just because he is a Hindu. This peeling the onion process of arguments and counter arguments was very useful for me to understand the perspective of Modi supporters. When Nanavati commission said that Godhra attack was preplanned, I believed it given his impartial & impressive credentials.
Even Modi’s critics will be hard pressed to find one instance of discrimination against Muslims after the Godhra Train burning & Gujarat riots were behind us. If that was his agenda, he could have pursued it in many ways in the last 8 years as well by some means or the other.
I see the ground realities of massive development in Gujarat every day and have been clearly impressed with administration that has not discriminated against anyone. If the Nanavati Commission & SIT declare that Modi did not conspire to specifically target Muslims, I am willing to believe it. If that was his intention, he would not have asked for police forces of the neighboring states of Maharashtra, MP & Rajasthan that could not carry out his hidden agenda of targeting Muslims. The fact that he asked for such police reinforcements speaks as loudly about his clear intentions as it does about Congress’ malicious intentions which ruled these states then & refused to provide such police reinforcements.
It is high time that we as a nation leave the tragedy behind us once the SIT & Nanavati investigations are over and move on.

History bears witness to the fact that many of the tyrants turn out to be the most chicken hearted cowards when their deeds come home to roost. They never muster courage to face the court of law. Hitler committed suicide, Mussolini was caught hiding under the discarded uniforms of soldiers and Idi Ameen ran begging and got asylum in Saudi Arabia. I don’t want to deprecate these once towering negative figures of history by bringing any similarity of them with Modi. He is a non-descript fly on the democratic wheel of India. His problem is the big morsel of barbarism fell in his mouth when he was gaping open mouth at the political bed of Gujrat. He swallowed that and became the mascot of RSS. He is someone upon whom the tyranny is vested. RSS has catapulted this lab assistant of its hatred and vengeance lab as the demonstrator. He willingly donned that role as it brought him name, fame and power. Now wheel of justice seems to have come to full circle and he is looking for escape routs.

Where are you Sheriif. In our beloved India political leaders and moneyed individuals can not be punished simply because they are super-humans, Are we not wasting our time,
SIT itself is an unreliable and discriminating body, I guarantee that they will acquit Modi, rightly so, because he never took the gun or knife or any weapon in his hand except his harmless political weapon which did the job of slaughter, murders, rape, killings, setting fires to Muslim shops and homes, so Modi is not the culprit, he was a passive onlooker who could do nothing to stop civilization and Sanatana Dharma breaking down, but he did a great service to BJP of India, by his death laboratory experiments he assured the BJP national leaders that, since he could not become the PM of India, he made sure that BJP would never come back to power in Delhi and his friend Advani could never become the PM of India.
Good work done by Modi, But SIT will find him not guilty at all. It is better that way, because if Modi was found guilty, his soldiers will do another round of rape, killings, butchery and setting fires to the homes of the muslims, leave him alone until the hereafter.

Zakia Jafri is betting her destiny on the wrong horses (in politicians) who significantly control the judiciary. I feel sorry for her, she puts her faith on the wrong people for right reasons, she will never get justice that she expects for the killing of her VIP husband and 68 others. The defensive attack that her husband made will be turned against her.
Nothing whatsoever will happen to Modi as he never carried a gun or a hand grenade in his hand. Zakia Jafri is sadly ignorant about how the Indian judicial system works in the case of powerful politicians and moneyed individuals. The case involving cold blooded murder of an MP comes to be questioned 8 years after the horrendous incident. That itself tells something about the discrimination in Indian politics.
Sinners may escape in the earthly judiciary but not in answerability and accountability after death hereafter. May Modi and his foot soldiers and accomplishes live longer giving them more time to realise and grieve their sins for their passive or active participation in the worst massacre of 21st century’s India.
Sri Balbir Singh (grand son of Ex Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana: Chaudrary Shyam Singh) who took a major part in the demolition of Babri and begged his pardon to God and became a Muslim and took the name Muhammad Amir. Who can guarantee that a similar thing may not happen to Modi and his cohorts who planned and executed post Godhra massacre.

Gujarati Muslims are left with their unhealed wounds and nightmarish memories, Muslims in India’s Hindu-majority state of Gujarat are still helplessly awaiting justice to be served after thousands of relatives were burned and hacked to death in month-long violence eight years ago. From rehabilitation to compensation to conviction of the rioters, virtually nothing has happened, Muslims who were hacked and burnt to death by Hindu extremists.
Despite a national outcry, little has been done to catch the culprits. There was no trace of accountability on government officials who engineered the mass violence. Only about a dozen people have been convicted from 3,200 cases filed.
India’s Supreme Court has accused the Hindu nationalist government in Gujarat of being complicit in the killings. Muslims, who make up 12 percent of Gujarat’s 50 million population, feel they have neither received justice from a biased police nor succour from the government, heightening their sense of alienation.
Should justice be done the cases must be transferred to a different state, otherwise it would appear that SIT is doing a white wash and looking for ways to let the bigwig criminals get away. 90% Indians have trust in our SC, we hope the highest judiciary does not fail to honour its commitments and credibility

Abdul Razak, A Gujarati relation of mine says it’s a shame I tried to live while my family lay dead around me, he was a shopkeeper in Ahmedabad, the main city in Gujarat. He recalled horrible memories. The elderly man had to hide among the corpses of his daughter and three grandchildren to escape the Hindu mobs. Eight years on, Abdul Razzak’s wounds are still festering. “I have not been able to live down my cowardice.”
Abdul Razzak is not a unique case. Many Muslims in the violence-scarred state are still in a heart-breaking search for beloved ones they lost in the trauma. With eyes filled with tears, Rupa Mody described how she is still hoping to find her 13-year-old daughter, Azhar, who is missing since 2002. Today Muslims and Hindus avoid crossing each other’s path. The two communities do not mingle any more.
Was not Nerendra Modi feel ashamed about these things happening in a country where people of all religions have been living for generations peacefully

Justice UC Banerjee Panel probing the 2002 Godhra incident which triggered the Gujarat riots has concluded that the blaze which killed 59 passengers on Sabarmati Express train was accidental. In his interim report Justice Banerjee has rejected “the petrol theory” and the “miscreant activity theory”.
Justice Banerjee has clearly stated that the fire in S-6 Coach of Sabarmati Express was “accidental”. In this background the stand that petrol was thrown from outside by the miscreants to burn the passengers in S-6 coach is baseless. The Forensic Science Laboratory, Ahmedabad’s report (filed by the police with the charge-sheet) that the coach was set on fire not from outside but from within.
The report has absolved the stone-throwing mob, whatever their number or intent. In any case, the window grills were not broken. There was no attempt by the mob to break into the coach. The doors of the coach were locked from inside.
The Sangh Parivar and Modi used this claim to set entire Gujarat on fire, leading to a carnage of genocidal dimension which took nearly 2500 lives.
Indeed Modi and Co. have tried to justify the carnage as a natural reaction to the gruesome and horrifying burning of ‘58 Karsevaks’ in the train at Godhra, which was universally condemned. The above testimony by the survivors of the victims is terrible, depressing, grief-striking, pathetic and profoundly sorrowful.
Who can stop some of the emotionally up set victims relatives turning violent and resort to terrorism to retaliate and take revenge. May One True Almighty God guide them to the right path and give them patience and courage to withstand this horrendous tragedy

Sabarmati was a pretext and post Godhra was a pre-meditated, well planned, well-organised, politically well orchestrated terror laboratory in which Modi had an active role or was a passive approver. Vajpayee said that.
It is impossible to believe for any one that over 2000 people get killed without the CM’s knowledge and approval. About 10 rounds of ammunition tactically used could have saved hundreds of lives and rapes, the police officers stood by and watched as per instructions. Cabinet Ministers became thugs and butchers. No way we can justify this. Deal with crimes and terrorism regardless of religious affiliations, but no one should dream of building a Ram Rashtra by killing 160 Muslims in India 99.9999% have no role to play in any terrorist attacks.
It is an impossible dream to create a theocracy by killing all the minorities as some mad guys on this forum are suggesting. Was Chenghiskhan successful in building a world empire? How long did the Roman empire last?
By all means let Hinduism become the State Religion of India, by all means let Sanatana Dharma be part of Indias constitution. Muslims like me have no objection as long as the UNO articles on human rights are not violated by India or any other nation in the world-Muslim or Non-Muslim.
We should go by the examples of decent people not by Al-Qaeda or Talibans who form the lunatic fringe of the religion. Islam is the State Religion in Malaysia, but millions of Hindus have a happy and peaceful life there. There are hundreds of temples all over Malaysia.

Modi has been democratically elected by popular vote is a myth and a huge lie.
Hitler was also an elected democrat and Hitler got himself elected by intimidation, by racist politics, by discrimination and by war mongering, and the same trick worked in the case of Modi, he was immensely successful in his minority killing laboratory and the illiterate Hindus saw in him a Hitler who could uphold the fanatical Gujarati Hindu based politics and the minorities never went any where near the polling booths as they were scared.
This is the sort of democracy in very many states in India. But RSS and BJP wildly thought that having succeeded in Gujarat( back to power) by killing 2500 innocent Muslims, the same experiment would succeed in the whole of India. After all it worked after the demolition of Babri Masjid. But never again in Indian history BJP will come to power by manufacturing the killings fields of the minorities. An attempt to demolish Taj Mahal might work

God Almighty knew the guilt and sin of Modi the man responsible for inhuman butchery of innocent minorities who had no part in Sabarmati express killings.
Even assuming it took place as it did, no one dares to answer why the bodies of people killed in the coach tragedy were carried openly as a procession a long way to instigate people and make them get ready to kill the minorities.
Even assuming that some miscreants did the torching, the massacre was far beyond any sensible proportion and it will take a long time for the world community to digest this killings and slaughter.
A Chief Minister is the Chief Minister for the entire people of Gujarat, but Modi acted as the Chief Minister of Hindus and allowed the Muslims to go to hell. We know in India 100% 1000% Modi will come out clean and spot less. There will be no proof and no punishment, but he will die with the pain of realising his deliberate stubbornness not to have stopped the butchery

You obviously have so much hatred for Modi that it shines through. I am glad that those who oppose Modi hate him. That way, most of your energy is being wasted in that hatred. I have absolutely no intention of waking you up to the reality of how fast WHOLE of Gujarat is moving forward relative to ANY state in India.
Let not even the Nanavati Commission and Supreme Court appointed SIT’s findings get your head out of the sand. Otherwise, you just might do something good for the common man, as in Kerala, West Bengal and other Congress ruled states where 60+ years after independence, people are still waiting for basic needs, such as, water, electricity, transparent governance and development.
So, keep your head in the sand and keep claiming that the world is blind. I have no intention of waking you up because those who are awake & pretend to be asleep cannot be woken up. I will NOT be responding to ANY of of your vitriolic. So, keep going.

Dhanan: You will never understand the mental agony and trauma unless you have lost a dear one in a terrible wanton communal killing. Learn to treat the people as human beings first before categorising them into segments. I can understand an uncivilized, uneducated street thug justifying communal killings out of vengeance, but not the leaders like Modi and Advani, Togadia, Bal Thackeray justifying the killings of the innocent. Dawood Ibrahim should understand the fact that the terrorism that he carried out killing the innocent in Bombay is wrong, same thing applies to Babri demolition by leaders like Advani, and communal massacre in Gujarat. Has Modi or Advani any time felt regret over the incident as Vajpayee regretted openly, publicly. Indian politicians have exceeding ego in them. Look at Serbian leaders. Lots and lots of people like you are blinded by the economic progress and industrialisation of a State /region. What is the point of selective economic progress if there is no security of life and property, if the innocent are slaughtered in the name of religion? A wrong is wrong whoever is responsible for the killings of the innocent, regardless of the perpetrators religious affiliations. People like you and Modi think you serve India and Hindutva effectively by your selective killings and selective economic progress. But there again you are wrong, because you kill in the name of wrong Hindu Philosophy for the sake of vote bank politics, your Hindutva is a counterfeit Hindutva, the real Hindutva is based on Sanatana Dharma. Neither the Sev Sena nor RSS has the monopoly to define the real Hindutva, the majority of the Hindus know that BJP’s Hindutva is a counterfeit one and hence the big political and spiritual failure. Please wake up if you are still fanatically sleeping

You touched a cord in my heart implying that you may have lost a dear one in the riots. Hense my response.
You said “I can understand an uncivilized, uneducated street thug justifying communal killings out of vengeance, but not the leaders like Modi and Advani, Togadia, Bal Thackeray justifying the killings of the innocent.”
I urge you to show me ONE (not 2 or more) sentence of Modi or Advani where they justified ANY killings in riots.
I completely sympathize with your loss of a loved one. In my responses above (12th from the top), I said clearly: “No one even for a minute is justifying the loss of innocent life and the guilty ones should be punished to the toughtest possible extent EVERYWHERE. After all, innocent life lost has no religion. We all have the same blood in us.”
I have seen riots in person in Mumbai and can never wish them on any innocent person – be him a Hindu or a Muslim or anyone. As I said in my comment (7th from the top) is “What we should not do is blame it on Narendra Modi if we do not bring real culprits to the book.”.
Let punish the guilty by finding the truth. Nanavati Commission and SIT are investigating precisely that. But let’s not make a villain out of Modi if he is not guilty.

What may be the explanation of people like Mr Dhanan on the responsibility of Babri Masjid? Similar to Gujarat massacre. Some think by repeating a lie a thousand times, the lie becomes the truth. The senior BJP, RSS and Sev Sena leaders have openly admitted that it was done by fanatical Hindu terrorist outfits. But did Advani say that openly? Kalyan Singh resigned from BJP and washed detailed dirty linen in public. Bal Thackeray said he was proud of the Hindu boys who carried out the demolition. Dhanan argues the case he thinks convincingly. Demolition of Babri was the root cause of religion based terrorism in India. It served its purpose by dishonestly allowing RSS to come to power in India, but in a way it is a good thing, the minorities sacrificed a lot in terms of lives and property, but indirectly they helped Indian secularism by making sure that never in the history of India they will come back to power, because common Hindus have known their dirty game NOW, there is some construction in destruction, that is the law of God.

Dhanan you say “I urge you to show me ONE (not 2 or more) sentence of Modi or Advani where they justified ANY killings in riots” May I urge you : Show me one sentence where they sincerely, whole-heartedly, God-consciously said what happened in Babri demolitions killings, what happened in Bombay killings, what happened Gujarat slaughter was an unforgivable, condemnable, appalling and an un-Hindu act. Keeping silent, keeping quiet, not regretting, justifying on the pretext that it was a spontaneous act…these themselves more than justify their quiet, covert approval of the killings in riots. You lose the most important point that is it helped them come to power, political power that blinds all, in order to bring, Hindu Rashtra ( or I wonder some sort of Brahmanical Rashtra), some fanatical Hindu leaders think that it can be built on the blood of a few thousand Muslims, it does not matter , after all Muslims and Christians are aliens in Hindu India.
